the best programmer our company had was on cocaine. he kept it in a drawer in his desk at work and would get into it at breaks, 10 and 2.

Should I have notified the police?

He got more done than everyone else on the team, including me and I got more done than everyone else on the team. I was the project leader. I had him and three other normal people and one trainee who was son of the VP and me, all coding. Only he and I were doing assembler.
Explain what happens to our project if he goes into rehab or is arrested.

FWIW, he never spoke to anyone. He did not leave his desk. I interfaced with the users and the analysts. the other coders did not leave their desks.
He just kept his nose to the grindstone, so to speak.
He would answer my technical questions and I would bring other people's questions to him too. Other than that, he coded. A+

I was at another company whose name I will not mention lest I have to be sued.
The management and lead coders were all on coke. All of them.
And they drove race cars and motorcycles with the company logo on the weekend.

I'm guessing that she caked makeup on at school and was actually arrested later when she wasn't done up. Even in the most fricked up school there's no way she looked like that every day.
