I keep every card I get in a filing cabinet with all my important papers.
My husband tosses his as well. On our second wedding anniversary he didn't get me a card. He thought he didn't need to since we were on vacation and the trip was our gift to each other. Bad move on his part

The one V day card I do know he kept...was one years ago that I bought that was supposed to be from his dog(as a joke). I bought a stamp pad and put his dog's pawprint in it(so that it was "signed" by his dog).

Honestly, that's all my wife and I have gotten each other for a long time. I will also bring home something for dinner so she doesn't have to cook and she will be happy with that.
