This gives me a good idea... I'm going to get a 'Valentine's Day' card for the wife, complete with red envelope, but inside will be a birthday card for her dog... who happens to have been born on Feb. 14th.

We waste too much money on real holidays; we don't need to do it on something made up by the greeting card people to syphon cash off of you. We usually go to dinner, something we would enjoy anyway, and call it a night. Sometimes we exchange cards and that's about it.
