Alex, I'll take "What is a dead snake category for $500?"
Posted on 6/26/16 at 12:24 am to Kudzu65
It's a harmless chicken snake. Just pick it up and put it outside. No venom but will bite.

If I saw a black mamba in real life I would shite my pants. Like literally shite my pants

That's a North American Nope. Very deadly.

Pick it up and relocate it outside, alive. Unless you're a giant pussy and want your property infested with mice. Those snakes are a property owner's best friend in that regard.

Put out a water bowl for it. It looks a little thirsty

My premise is that in the southeast United States, any place that is home to those snakes will have a dramatically lower rodent population. Infested? Maybe not. Will you see more than you would if you had left the snake alone? Absolutely. Unless you've got a bunch of cats running around, which would also make me question one's manhood.

I don't understand the sentiment behind not killing a snake because it kills rats and mice. Know what else kills rats and mice? Me. And I don't need help from any snakes.

The sentiment is the ridiculousness of killing something that provides a benefit to you, and literally poses zero threat and minimal inconvenience. Just because "EW A SNAKE!!!11"... Seems pretty silly. And sissified.
