Yes but we would have recorded surveillance. We have that 24/7 so we could easily review the data from that day and see if that fricking plane
Even if this was possible, maybe the plane was buzzing along at 5000ft as has been reported, and it was overcast with cloud ceiling at 10,000ft.

The pilots could have brought their own oxygen tanks and masks (small enough to fit in their bags).

I don't care what you believe. It's very possible to clear those electronic devices while flying over an ocean.
This is the most ridiculous of theories I've heard. No one went through all 200+ cell phones/laptops.
There is a better chance of the plane being parked in Afghanistan with Osama Bin Laden as the pilot with a joint hanging out his mouth.

Its very mountainous and a jetliner doesnt have terrain hugging radar like a fighter jet does. (im just regurgitating what I heard on news, Im certainly no expert). I just personally think if the plane is in or travelled near that land area the US knows it.

So the plane crashed immediately once it began flying at 5,000 feet -- for several hours?
Because unless it immediately crashed...guess what? In any scenario those cellphones had to be dealt with.

This is true, radar energy travels through clouds, although it does cause some effects but usually not enough to no not see contacts.

Except debris...
There would be debris everywhere.
It took five days to find Air France 440 and we knew it's exact track and where it went down. This plane could be in a lot of different places.

Source?

The internet.
We basically know the plane flew for several hours. We now know it was intentionally sabotaged.
We have evidence the plane nose dived and stabilized at 5000 feet which indicates someone was controlling the plane.
So the point is, REGARDLESS of altitude and personal theory, at some point the cellphones were dealt with. This isn't rocket science.

or they can just use a cell phone jammer/detector.
Like $300 or $2k for a good one.

My point is simple: what's the most efficient way to kill every passenger on a plane quickly without taking the plane down?
Asphyxia.
That can occur at 45,000 feet while the pilot is safe.

Link me a source. No one has said it flew at 5k for several hours.

The missing Malaysia Airlines plane could have flown as low as 5,000ft (1,500 metres) after diverting from its course, allowing it to avoid detection by radar, according to Malaysian media reports.
no one is positive on timeframe yet.

“In most of Western Australia and almost all of the Indian Ocean, there is almost no radar coverage,” an Australian civil aviation authority source said, requesting anonymity as he was not authorised to speak on the record.
I'm clinging to the Christmas or Cocos Island theory.

Can occur at 25k feet too... I don't know if they thought it would occur more quickly at 45k feet or what.
