We should get a press conference out of Malaysia shortly. Obviously, the conclusion is a hijacking. Hope to hear something from US and China soon.
Analyst also said the US has moved a destroyer to the area and they wouldn't do that for a rescue mission or just for training time.... He thinks they know more and are getting in the area in case it's needed.

Ship can help with searching

I ask again, WHY would it have to be a 777 for a weapons delivery system?
Maybe some other purpose,
Something on the plane that someone wanted and the best way to hide its theft is to have the world believe it crashed in to the sea, special purpose military related semiconductors/
Someone needed to disappear, having the world think you died and are at the bottom of the ocean is pretty effective.

Malaysia needs all talking points approved by the US. China has fricked this up a bit as well.

He said this is a destroyer and the way he talked, they wouldn't bring THAT ship in for a search and rescue. Eluded that other ships in area could do that.
Just repeating what the military analyst said.

Probably not. But again, they wouldn't need to steal a 777 to have a flying weapon platform whatever the target.
The timing of the hijack might have been more important than the plane itself? Everything may be about the pilots location to pull this plot off. There are spots on the earth where it's common for communication to be lost several minutes. The location of the hijack is right in the middle of one those spots.

Perhaps 20 experts on cloaking technology

Well then all you need is to establish a shell company, all the paperwork associated, get the aircraft registered and have the half million dollars to purchase the plane any fees and costs associated with landing and fueling at certain airports.
All of that is if you are tying this to some major terrorist organization which is a huge jump consider we have no idea who what where when or how on any of this shite.
You're definitely right though
Hey, I'm just guessing and supposing like everyone else.
Stealing a 777, making 200+ people disappear, keeping it hidden for 2-3 years and then flying it undetected for a weapons platform is a stretch for me.
Maybe so. It just seems there should be an easier way to do the dark deed.

Yes, that's a good point. If it was a hijack, it sure seemed to be the best point of the flight for a hijack.

Could this particular plane have been transporting very valuable cargo?

Who knows, if its close and just patrolling in any close proximity no reason not too.
They are just out there hanging around anyways. Didn't see the conversation though.
Destroyer also still has helicopters and more than likely drones that can be used.

I do too. If not for sure, they know close enough and are scrambling to pinpoint its location. One would that terrorist who could formulate a plan as elaborate as this would also keep the passengers alive to serve as leverage if they were discovered. Pose a threat to any attempted incursion by Seals, Delta, etc.

Interesting question.

They mentioned lithium on fox news.
Doesn't seem like that would be too special though

Have aliens been conclusively ruled out yet?

I don't think so. I'd have to ask why the aliens chased the plane for several hundred miles before zapping it.
Posted on 3/14/14 at 11:57 pm to PsychTiger
If it just disappeared without leaving a hint of a trace, then we would know aliens took it.
They've mastered interstellar travel. I'd imagine they're intelligent and patient.
