Basically, think of it as air going in the front of the cabin at a given rate through a pressure bulkhead. The rate it goes out the back is controlled by an outflow valve. The more closed the valve is, the less air escapes, the more compressed and therefor oxygen rich the air is. The more open it is, the "thinner" the air becomes. So, when you have a cabin altitude of 13,000' it is like being at 13,000' above sea level on a standard atmospheric day (59 F, 1013.2mb Hg at sea level).
It's more complex than that, but those are the basics.

Maybe so. But that's not to say if this works for them they may not try it on us at some point. Most likely with a shipping container if I had to guess.

Maybe all this stuff was done by remote control from some Illuminati-style group for some as yet unknown reason. One week ago that idea would have sounded crazy.

ok, so I have been in a private jet, flying at 49k with no mask needed. Are private jets built to better withstand the higher altitudes?

Kind of what I talked about a few pages back. This plane, if on an uninhabited island, would be heading somewhere closer,like Europe.....or ,gasp,Israel. They could probably stockpile enough fuel over several months to pull that off.
And many pages ago, I mentioned that a former CIA analyst was on CNN and said a plane that size could fly close enough to another commercial plane to appear as one blip on the radar. If it was timed perfectly, maybe they could slip the plane in behind another just as it is about to enter monitored airspace, buying some time to make it to their target. If not, detonate the nuke once an F-16 or other jet locked in on it. It could go undetected if it flew around the southern tip of India and hit the mainland around Iran. But going undetected from there seems almost impossible without some serious cloaking capability as it would have to go across a combination of several middle eastern countries before getting to Israel.
I'll say though that I would be a bit edgy if I resided on the north or west coast of Australia as there is absolutely nothing in between the Indian Ocean and their coastline.

Yeah, I don't know why but since 9-11, these bizarre events seem to have a deeper layer of intrigue behind them. There are the "official stories" and then there is the ugly truth buried in there somewhere.

The cabin was pressurized, so you didn't need a mask.
Oxygen masks are compensatory measures for when the ambient pressure declines. If the ambient environment is pressurized to normative values, you don't need to breathe in 100% oxygen to compensate for anything, as your arterial pressure is already above 60 mmHG.
If, however, the cabin depressurized at 49,000 feet, any oxygen mask supplying 100% O2 wouldn't be sufficient to adequately raise your PaO2 above 60 mmHG. The plane would need to rapidly decline in altitude to restore the ambient pressure.
