Malaysian government is in charge.
The minister of civil aviation was asked a few questions which I couldn't here what was being asked.
He got frustrated and said that information was being given to many different media outlets and the media was not confirming any information before reporting. He also said that the satellite image given by China was a mistake.

This is the biggest problem in this thread. Even the cloaking thing, while entertaining, has taken on a life of its own with zero confirmation.

Can't disagree with you. I was watching the live Press conference and gave an update. There is way more speculation than actual info, which may be why so many find this story so bizarre.
This thread is a combination of speculation of what happened, where the plane is, and the OT being the OT.

Then he should be giving a press conference twice a day. The entire world is watching this right now. If you don't want misinformation, give continuous updates on what IS real and shoot down the invalid claims...
