Maybe took them that long to get them analyzed by their intelligence agency and decide to releaser them.
Depending on the technology used, that's certainly plausible - they may have had to pull the imagery to have it analyzed. It may have been a classified asset, so they had to scrub it to be released, generally. The resolution may have had to be reduced, as well, to protect the source asset.
3 days is nothing for stuff like that - actually a pretty quick turnaround. All you're getting from our guys is the EXSUM's from our reports (i.e. nothing consistent with a mid-air explosion in the region). That's because everything we have watching the area is codeword-level (above TS/SCI).

I guess that might be it; I'll bet they have that confirmed by tomorrow morning.
At this point I wonder if they don't have to get out there before the Malaysians go and sink them.

That's awfully close to Vietnam - I doubt that's a risk.

But as the guy pointed out above this is close to where the Vietnamese said they checked after the oil rig worker made his report, so why wasn't it found then.
This is some messed up stuff. But I'm intrigued.

Good point, and we don't know exactly when that imagery was taken.
And, of course, the ocean currents are still pushing anything on the surface around. Figure the stuff is drifting at least 1 to 2 knots, even in relatively calm seas, and as much as 6 to 10 knots, depending on the wind.
In a day, that's 50nm+. And it could eventually sink. I would definitely have someone work backwards from that spot, towards the last contact point. This is still a small plane compared to the ocean - but a "big" small plane, from an expected debris standpoint.

Here's hoping the Chinese have found it to give the families some closure
Also Malaysia should be raked over the coals for being at least a major contributor to this fiasco........ and it may even come to light that they shot the thing down

Wonder how much the shot-down theory still holds after US spy satellites saw no sign of an explosion.

Okay , back in thread...
Is the email from the rig being followed up seriously?
They should focus the search in that quadrant.

To keep it from returning to Kuala Lumpur and being flown into the Twin Petronas Towers.

Shot-down theory is looking weaker but still a possibility. The direction of the plane according to the rig worker and no visible flames seem to counter the theory. But will see.

It has been followed up on and nothing was found. Near the area that Chinese satellites found three large objects

Yea I didn't think about that, idk how accurate that is but since the oil rig guy's story now has a bit more credibility, he did say the plane looked to be on fire........something had to cause it whether it be an electrical fire or a missile

So at this point, aliens still can't be ruled out, right?

Has Chuck Norris given his alibi for the time frame of the event?
