Ok...article states the pics the Chinese took were from 3/9/14...the day after plane went missing. Those suspected pieces of debris could be anywhere right now given its just coming out 3 days later.

everyone on the plane has to have access to supplementary oxygen.

Sometimes it's so quick I think no one can access them before it's too late perhaps? However I admit I'm not as familiar with hypoxia /cabin depressurization.

I think it happened to Helios flight 522(?) in Greece in 2005. Actually one flight attendant on Helios 522 with some time as a private pilot was able to wake/get oxygen ,but not enough knowledge or time to save the plane.

Must have been horrible for this poor attendant as the military Jets saw him make his way to the cockpit at the last minute to try & save the plane before it crashed into a mountain. He was unable use radio to make contact with military jets.

120 people or so dead . Are you familiar with Helios 522?

true

but i have to think they will know the current direction and speed in that area and should be able to locate them fairly easily

before they had no place to start looking, now they at least have a reference point

The Malaysian government will say that the ocean current is moving northeast, so start looking to the northeast of it. Then in 3 days they'll say, oh no we were wrong, the current is going southwest.

Well, looking through all of their satellite images can become very tiresome and maybe it was overlooked at first. Without knowing any better, the images look like parts of clouds to the untrained eye.

Or just so innocent people didnt die.

Pretty sure if they find the plane they will find the root cause.
