I prefer the one where it doesn’t get pitch dark before 5:00 PM in December.

It doesn’t hit us so much in the south, but northern latitudes probably prefer the sun to be up by 9 am.

Daylight saving

We're in the FL panhandle, close to the ET/CT zone line, so the sun sets at 4:45pm when the time changes.

FL passes a bill for the state to stay on daylight saving time year round, but the federal government will have to approve it - not gonna happen. Wish they'd have asked for the entire state to be in the eastern time zone instead.

Way to early for the sun to set for me.

But then again, the sun coming up at 8 or 9 am is way to late for me

If you don’t like the time then just move.

At least having time zones is much better than what was done before we became an interconnected world where each town or area set their own time based on something like a sun dial.

Sunrise by 6:30ish, and sunset by 7:30-8 would make me happy year round.

I know it doesn't work that way, but what I enjoy.

I just wish we pick one and stay with it. People with little kids hate time changes.

Standard, I like midnight to actually be the middle of the night and mid day to be the middle of the day.

I have lights if I want to be outside after dark.

I like it getting dark earlier in the winter and I like the longer days in the summer
