Well that's bc the Tundra is the most recalled vehicle on the road.

Maybe because they actually recall them.

Think they’re saying the cab is 4” larger vs previous models. Rear seats in the crew cab can recline slightly.

ETA: bed maintains same or similar dimensions to previous model. They lengthened the truck overall.

2009 Ram

2009 Tundra

They came out with similar looks in the same year.

I've had a Nissan, a Ford,2 Chevys and my Ram. I also don't remember bashing any brands in this thread. I just really love my truck, and the lifetime powertrain warranty it came with

Not you specifically but I just notice that anytime a truck thread starts the bashing of a particular brand begins. Probably mostly by people that have never driven one. Imo just about any modern vehicle will do 100k with minimal maintenance unless you just have bad luck.

I don’t mind a Ram, but I prefer trucks made in the US

Looks like there's enough room for the ENORMOUS penis of the manlet who feels the need to buy it.

They are transitioning the 1500 to Michigan. It was already split between Warren, MI and Saltillo. The Saltillo plant still operates mostly producing HD trucks. My 2015 was built in the US.

Per the OT every vehicle that comes out looks like a Tundra.

Ram? Tundra
Silverado? Tundra
VW Beetle? Tundra

I’m not sold on the idea of having climate control in the touchscreen somewhere.

What vehicles do you think everyone should be buying, and why?

No shite. Modern crew cab trucks are mostly SUVs with an open air cargo area. For a guy with 2 kids like myself, it's nice to still be able to haul my 4 wheeler and 2 rugrats in comfort. I refuse to drive anything else

They look nothing alike to me. I guess they both have four wheels and are pickup trucks.

Can't wait to trade up to this. I have a 2015 Ecodiesel now, but this thing is pretty awesome. A clear improvement by any conceivable measure.

Like many of you, I never dreamed of owning a Ram (always drove Chevy and most recently Toyota). But I'm being serious when I say that this truck is the best I've ever had.

Bottom line is that they are all excellent these days. This is where the profits come from. No company can afford to make a crappy truck anymore. And clearly FCA has decided to dump billions into this model. I'm glad to see it.

My point wasn't that they actually look alike. People claim Ram copied Tundra and I'm showing that they came out with those designs in the same year.
