East- northeast at 2mph. Most posters on here walk faster than that!

I'm just going to have an uneasy feeling in my stomach for the next 3-4 days aren't I?

You won't be alone. I'm getting more nervous by the minute.

I'm no BayTiger, or Duke, or Geauxmedic, or any of the other real pros. I'm not even a Peej.

But it seems the NHC has been saying for a while it has no clue where it will go in the weak steering currents in place.

Yes for the most part. Gonna be a long night with these tornado warnings as it moves closer to us.

OK so in stormcastforums which I think is where GeauxMedic moderates, they're posting that it's drifting e/ne again and someone suggested that it may follow the front around Galveston as in under and toward Louisiana.

Anyone with any thoughts on this???

So how much rain has the Houston area received so far? What's weather like there now?

I think it is a bad idea. I would advise Harvey against it.

I'm in the NE in Kingwood. We've probably had 5-6 in of rain so far with a little wind. West Hou has been getting hammered.

Would love any updates in that area. They're locked down in the monastery.

I've seen 7" on the Northwest side of Houston since yesterday. It's been drizzling most of the day, but has recently picked up.

Looked like there were some reports of tornadoes near me. I keep getting alerts.

Hey baws,

Just want to thank rds, slack, Geaux, and Duke for their efforts this week. Doing the Lord's work. Possibly about to lose electricity. It's already blinking. This nasty band is about to roll thru HTown. God speed to everyone else in in the area.

With this storm just sitting over land for the next 5 days will it eventually run itself dry or is it still sucking up moisture from the gulf?
