Lost power around 1130 in Watson. It’s flickered twice but hasn’t came back on yet.

Out since before 9am in Southdowns.

Has anybody seen a truck out this afternoon at all or is that a pipe dream?

I'm not far from you and have it, but lots of people in my neighborhood do not. Southdowns and Magnolia Woods and Pollard Estates all looked fully red when I looked at the map a few minutes ago.

From the list Entergy pulled up, it looks like our zip code has the most outages in the greater area by a long shot. Like 8k+ compared to 2nd place being 4k.

We saw a truck working at Leeward and Highland, but won't be driving any further than within our own neighborhood today so unsure beyond that.

Did they give you an expected time to have power? Is there anything you need?

Nope, just says they are aware of it. Thanks for the offer, we are good.

I saw one at Perkins/Essen and another going down Burbank by Gardere about an hour or so ago when we were out looking for food.

I hope you're out of power and can't cook vs. so ill-prepared you're riding around at 4:30pm looking for food because you have none

No power and I did the protein bar and banana for lunch. I had to have food for dinner and didn't feel like standing out at the grill in the cold to do bacon and eggs. The roads really were fine where I went. Bluebonnet, Burbank and Perkins were pretty dry.

Yeah, I hear ya. Cold food only works so long before you're like OKAY I need hot food.

It was pretty aggravating to pull up to order Burger King and they were like "sorry, we're closing for the day."

At 8 hours off in Central. Anyone lose power this morning and get it back? Would be encouraging. Hearing this may be for days.

I'm out that way.

Power went out overnight a little while, came back on 8am (I can tell by the alarm clock). Went out about 1pm or so, came back on around 5pm.

We made a road trip to get some stuff while it was out; Walmart Fresh Market was open until 4. Home Depot open til 6. Got some stuff to make gumbo (have a gas stove), and picked up some Ryobi cordless lights (have a bunch of batteries). Oh, and grabbed a power inverter to use in the truck, I figure I can recharge the batteries in the truck if need be.

Stopped at David's Tiger Express and grabbed some fried chicken, then came home and saw the porch light was on. Great feeling!

I bet. It's so deflating when you pull into the neighborhood and see that everything is still out. Even if you aren't expecting it to be back on, there's always that glimmer of hope in the back of your mind.
