Just went out looking for generator. Some places open.
As far as no power, I have a fully furnished house empty in Prairieville. Will head there if no power by Tuesday.
If I can get through Houston.
The reason we didn't leave is because we would've had to drive at least 400 miles to avoid flooding, etc. We will ride it out here and when its passed evaluate. Pouring here now.

I gotcha.Damn, hopefully the winds aren't too bad, and it won't strengthen tonight and you can keep power. Good to hear you have good neighbors.

Are you close to the Lozona Golf Course/Crosstown Expressway?

What really sux is I have an awesome Honda generator. I loaned it to my son when he flooded last year and don't wanna take it back because his wife had a baby and he needs it more than I.
The wifey will push the button if I can locate one in the am.
And yes, our power is underground. One block off Yorktown.
Also, I live on the lake that would have to rise by 5' or more to get to my house.

hopefully you can find a generator in the am. That is solid having the power lines underground. That's a great neighborhood. Do you have local ABC, CBS affiliates or do you get the San Antonio stations?

Hey TexasTiger, how far from the bay are you? Any other landmarks?
Greek, roads may flood. but should go down pretty quick. Had 17" a couple years ago, trucks drove around.
