The storm must be passed us now. Wind was out of NW now out the SW.
Got the gen cranked to cool freezer back down. Will run for 1 hour.
Wifey crashed.

Ok, weather is awesome here. Had no phone service most of the day like during last years flood.
100 mph winds and didnt lose a shingle. Kinda upset, wanted a new roof.
Been helpin neighbors with generators. One neighbor owns wing stop wanted me to cook for him. Very backed up.
Still no power but its very close.
Got my generator running, window unit on and drank my last beer.
May go back to the captain or call it a night.
Fellows, stayin here was not smart at all and i dont recommend ever. We were very lucky it missed us. I only got about 4 inches of rain.
Thanks for all the support and i hope no one else is in its path.
If someone sends me an email i can forward a pic of one of our friends mothers house in Rockport. I dont post pics.

Yes we did. Power just came on. Unhooked generator and it went back off. Lol

I am not familiar with the area, but I am guessing this can be attributed to flat plain area with minimal trees to down the lines?

And no, no big trees here, really strange. Just them dayum mosquite trees. Plent wood to cook with on the ground around here.
