Red car was speeding in a residential area. Small red car transferred a lot of energy to the big SUV.
F=ma.
Cop still ran the stop sign. He was probably looking at his computer instead of watching the road, like all the cops here. He's at fault.

While the majority of police are good people, it's the ones like this that makes people hate cops.

Years ago I saw two LST hauling arse thru New Roads. They were driving a easy 60+ cause I was way behind them. They went to pass a car and rammed a on coming in the side as it was turning on a side street. LST car ended way up in a yard. the other car, driver was knocked out. Two cops trying to get their story together didn't even go to the other car. Bad thing, the guy had his daughter in a car seat in the back. She was no more then 4 years old.
I start yelling at the cops to get their heads out their asses and call for help. Man, was I pissed.
Couple years later, I was told the dude had a very big pay day. Also was told the the two LST was call to go eat at the jail house that day.
