Oak Grove football players arrested in connection with murder case

OAK GROVE, La. (KNOE) - Louisiana State Police say two more suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of an Oak Grove teenager.
18-year-old Kameron Holloway and a 17-year-old have been charged with obstruction of justice in the death of Chandler Erskine. Erskine was shot and killed on Sunday just north of Oak Grove. Another victim was also injured. State police announced the arrests on Thursday.
Sources say one suspect is the same Kameron Holloway who is the starting quarterback for Oak Grove High School's football team. The 17-year-old who was arrested is also a football player, but his identity has not been released.
On Monday, state police arrested three suspects in connection to Erskine's death.
James Turner, Westly Freeman, and LeJominek Woodruff are the three previous arrests in connection with Chandler Erskine's death.
Officers say the two victims met a group of individuals at the Oak Grove Rodeo Arena for an unknown reason. During the meeting, the suspects shot Erskine and another teenager. Erskine was pronounced dead at the scene. First responders airlifted the other victim to a hospital in serious condition.
