Koreans don't like darker skin, the reason they wear so much makeup is to look whiter. Its all about status, the darker you are the more you must have a menial labor job outdoors. If you are pale its because you work a white collar job. they have whitening salons like we have tanning beds.
We had a Korean who didn't want us to change his job title from secretary to supply clerk even though it paid more because the title of secretary was more prestigious. its a crazy culture...but the women are gorgeous!
