I'm not buying one simply since that's not how I invest my money (I like to drive my cars which reduces the investment earnings) but what you said may very well be correct. If correct, that car will appreciate greatly.

I don’t think I could drive a 5 speed with reverse just below 5th. I’d leave the whole thing on the hwy somewhere.

Biggest complaint about the CTS i had was the seats were uncomfortable as frick and it road rough. Complete opposite of what cafillac always stood for. They look nice but ill never get another.

I think you mean it handled well. You’re supposed to feel the road.

I agree with him somewhat. Drove a standard CTS, a 2015 I think it was, and frankly the steering was too responsive and it was too stiff for what I would want in a daily driver luxury car.

On a track it would be great but the steering was so sensitive it would be tiring to drive a long distance.

I think you’d be shocked with my standard 5 series’ steering, even after 12 years (though I’ve had it completely rebuilt).

I haven’t driven the last two versions of the 5 series, but Cadillac is really going after the market BMW left behind, with the CT5…the sports sedan. There may be no market for it, who knows?

I've driven them before. The Caddy was sharper.

Frankly what surprised me was I had driven a 2014 ATS4 3.6 quite a bit and while it was also very responsive it wasn't quite as sensitive to steering input at the CTS (turbo 4) was. The AWD may have had something to do with that as they are the same chassis. The lighter engine in the CTS as well.

Like I say, I'd find it tiring to drive a longer distance as the lightest input and it was moving left or right, right now.

As Caddy got sportier BMW was dialing their stuff back. I think BMW found a lot of the people buying them weren't buying for the drive as much as the badge. For years the car mags have been bitching about them not driving as well as in the past.

Now, no one is buying sedans, so it's a dying market.

tell me you know nothing about cars without telling me you know nothing about cars.

I couldn't possibly allow my self to drive a car full time, no matter how much power it had.

yeah I guess if you want to call it that. I always called it riding like shite. I guess what I was getting at is before this rebrand, cadillac was thought of as being a comfortable great riding piece of shite that would fall apart and breakdown constantly.

But it was comfortable before it rattled itself to pieces.

mine was never comfortable. The seats legit felt like sitting on plywood.

this is what a cadillac seat used to look like

this is what we are dealing with now, sitting on a fricking board

I'm betting comfy seats like those make a comeback with self driving cars.

btw-That is the back seat of a 2 door coupe.

Back when Caddy's were big.
