Because I can't watch or listen to sports coverage without hearing about this stupidity. It's the start of football and I have to hear about this misguided bullshite all day to get to any semblance of actual sports talk.

Now here we agree, but if everyone disregarded it, it would go away. Unfortunately there are quite a few that want to vent on both sides and it is nauseating.

does the media report what they deem newsworthy, or do they report what gets the most attention from its viewers?
if people were not outraged by this, the media wouldn't care

ESPN seems to only care about making Kaep look like MLK. The only dissenting opinion I heard was Finebaum and he was made to apologize the next day.
