Go back to the 1950s with your "being smart is uncool/gay" shite, amigo. The world has passed you by.
Nothing wrong with being gay. But there’s plenty wrong being you.

As CS Lewis' Screwtape would say "get them to stop learning and make them believe they already know it all."
And why do so many care what art a private institution chooses to display?

Remember you are on an LA heavy board. Lots of Catholics on here too that are concerned with how "PC" the church is moving. Yet side lining themselves the core of their beliefs.
Scrubing Columbus from the history books is one of the worse moves possible, as things would be totally different if he didnt make his journey when he did. Not many men in our history can be this be said about. Not even the current heros of today like MLKJr. Ohhhh who was an adulterer...so I guess we shouldnt have any national holidays celebrating him if we are going there. And yes we can judge him by his time. Way more so than we can Columbus as no one alive has ever spoken to anyone that has ever spoken to anyone that lived during Columbus' time.

I don't think he was white.. Was he? He was a full fledge Italian. Well, that would be considered white today so.. Maybe he was..
He had very Northern Italian coloration by historical accounts meaning no Moor "influence". Blondish hair and light, probably blue eyes. From a visual point of view about as white as one gets. IE not the Italians Dennis Hooper was talking about in True Romance.

Not good for the Knights of Columbus. I’ll have to find another service org to join I guess.
