Ha. We had one for family a few weeks ago. Mainly for my daughters reaction. She was so excited and wanted a sister. She has her brother and several male cousins. She’s the only girl on my side of the family. We let her be the one to cut the cake with the blue icing inside. She was a little upset at first but she’s already a great sister and will be again. Sorry y’all don’t like to do fun things for your family.

You lay in Houston in a hospital bed for 4 months including Christmas one ywar without anyone to talk to besides the nursing staff you learn to have sympathy for others who may feel isolated and cut them some slack.
