Anyone know if other denominations do the ashes thing? FCP was raised Pentecostal/Apostolic and now attends a fundamental Baptist congregation, so knowledge about the ashes thing isn’t really in his wheelhouse. That said, it looks like a neat tradition with Biblical roots, so really wondering if there’s anywhere to get the ashes outside of the Catholic church.
