Protestors swarm Kentucky Capitol during Gov. Beshear’s COVID-19 briefing

quote:

However, if you were watching the live stream of the press conference, you may have found it hard to focus on what the Governor had to say. That’s because of the hundreds of protestors who gathered at the Kentucky Capitol, despite the Coronavirus pandemic and the strict social distancing recommendations. Many of the protestors were expressing their dissatisfaction with Gov. Beshear, his decisions regarding COVID-19, the current state of Kentucky’s economy and the closings of churches, according to multiple journalists reporting from the Capitol. WKYT reporter Nick Oliver captured these videos of the crowd, saying there are hundreds of people gathered at the Capitol.

Folks about to rise up...nationwide. Protect yourself and family. Just sayin'. They're remaining calm but this storm is brewing.

Nothing like chanting “Family is essential” outside while not social distancing or wearing protective gear in a large group.

It's almost like the vast majority of people aren't affected by it.

Doubtful.

The country will begin to open before that happens. You're starting to see governors like Cuomo change their tunes. This charade will be over by the middle of next month.

Yep, it’s funny how some (progressives) before the epidemic said we should not allow states to make brash decisions (abortion/guns rights, etc)...but now it’s alright? And vice versa with the right.

People aren't making these lockdowns. The governments overreacting to Karen are.

But you knew that already, Karen.

Karen is only reacting because of the government. Karen can't think for herself.

Karen can kiss my arse...I’ve been playing golf everyday on a public course that was closed and still being maintained. My game is pretty damn good lately.

You don't have much interaction with government agencies do you?

There's a reason why the SSA wanted to hire me to fill diversity quotas out of college.
