Nah I think it was the 6 bullet holes in him that caused him to hit the poles, but you may be right. I’ll look out for the breed of peace thread.

Damn passed that earlier and thought some drunk a-hole hit the poles. Had tons of cops with the street blocked wondered why so many were there.

That small stretch of Claiborne seems to have a shooting every other month. Yet, whenever I drive by that area, I never see any police. I think they just want them to kill each other and get it over with. Not a bad idea except for when they take out light poles, etc.

There’s a crime camera directly over that intersection and a cop on Claiborne witnessed it tonight.
But yes in my career I’ve made a ton of shootings in that area. It’s a really bad part of the city.

Looks like most of the bullets hit the back door. Was he in the back seat?

That a whole lot of shots to one vehicle, not counting the window space.

Every town
has its ups and downs
Sometimes ups
outnumber the downs
but not in New Orleans
I'm inclined to believe
if we weren't so down
we'd up and leave
We'd up and fly if we had wings for flying
Can't you see these tears we're crying
Can't there be some happiness for me
Not in New Orleans
has its ups and downs

This. Also there’s always some bullshite going on at Canal and Elk Place. You would think a strong police presence would cut down on some of the crap that happens. But never see any police in the area until the Hard Rock collapse.
