When we go out, for the most part my wife has decided she will deal with the consequences. We know a few safe dishes for her at a couple restaurants. Even then, she still sometimes doesn’t feel well. Sometimes she doesn’t care and wants to feel like a normal person so she takes the chance. Even then it’s dietary restriction requests which we both hate. Hence we don’t eat out much
Damn, you guys need to find better places. I could easily accommodate pretty much any request she could possibly make (minus batch stuff like soups). Not gonna lie, I'd probably mumble some shite under my breath, but then I'd do my best to put out an edible dish minus all her restrictions, and any other halfway decent cook can do the same thing.

We can much easier just cook at home.

It’s been an adjustment, but we’ve gotten better at cooking and we reserve going out.

It’s not like everything is off the table.

Tonight is ground turkey quinoa bowls.

Quinoa
Ground turkey
Tomatoes
Special broth (FODY brand)
Corn
Black Beans (only a small amount is safe due to the GOS content)
Cheddar cheese

It isn’t spectacular but it will do.

It’s not but set to be end of 2025. However, that’s not the culprit. It has to do with the type of wheat we get in the US vs UK.

Your handle indicates you are ready to debunk anything that would slight the US agriculture. Sorry. The gluten oversees is easier to digest.

Totally false

What kind of wheat do we grow here? Is wheat gmo here or in the uk ? Do we spray glyphosate on wheat here?
Can’t wait for your answers

Not exactly.

What you posted doesn’t refute my point.

Homemade or craft/ local bread is often made with different ingredients than the mass produced bread, which goes along with your post.

It is a fact wheat products in the European nations are far less impactful.

But carry on

Self-reported gluten sensitivity This study did not select people who had medically diagnosed gluten sensitivity via IgA and IgG antibody blood test.

Yeah and it was only 16 people. So did this study accomplish anything?

Next time my 3 year old doesn’t shite for 2 weeks, I’m going to punch her in the gut and tell her to quit being such a queer.

Got it, baws.

Edit: for clarification, this is a satirical post. Lest someone use an AI webscraper to research me and attempt to disqualify me over it.

If you stop eating any certain thing long enough, eating it again will cause discomfort.

A lot of people who claim they can’t eat gluten have put it on themselves.

Like a dog getting an upset stomach when it gets a different brand of dog food.

It got guys like OP to misunderstand and think that gluten sensitivity is BS.
Is it funded by big bread?

A more accurate title for this thread would be “Self-reported non Celiac gluten sensitivity is BS”. But that wouldn’t get clicks. Everyone would be like, we know.

Just like I thought. You couldn't answer any of the questions because you don't know anything

How many farms have you stepped foot on in the UK? I'd guess 0
How many American farms have you stepped foot on? Probably 0 again

Glyphosate is registered in the UK and EU until the 2030s. Places that have put bans a few years ago have since got rid of the bans

There is no commercially grown GMO wheat in the US and less than 10% of the wheat crop is sprayed with glyphosate for a harvest aid - guess what? Its also used as a harvest aid in the UK and Canada because of their climate

The reason their bread is better is because of how they process it, use less additives and their food supply chain doesn't have the consolidation that the US has which was caused by policy drawn up by politicians people like you vote for
