When I lived in South Texas, the PE classes at my public school were broken into four tribes. The girls were split into two groups and given Native American group names, same for the boys. Boys were either Pawnee or Sioux. We competed against each other in everything for points, and we also learned about the Native American group's culture that we were named after. It was great fun.
