Did you go to EJ?

Patently false. You think blacks are the only ones who contributed to the development of the city?
And if white people stopped pumping their money into NO it would fold like a cheap suit.
But today, the worst problems with NOLA are the thug blacks who are a cancer upon the city (not the decent blacks) and the politicians that pander to the LCD in order to get elected.

And there were 3 shootings, one of which was fatal.

3. There is a job economy to support the pricing of homes economy so it's basically out of towners but up property and turning this city in to a vacation home destination.
New Orleans is still very affordable for functional folk with jobs. You haven't been out of the state of Louisiana if you think otherwise.

Do you ever see that massive skyline that is way too big for a city of 350,000? Yeah, those buildings were once filled with white collar jobs of all sorts. Now they're filled with personal injury attorneys.

New Orleans was 75% white until the 1970s. This idea that New Orleans has been always a black majority is a myth that is perpetuated by the media and comments from the likes of Ray Nagin and others.

Yup.
It's that damn "great society".
We're being outbred, plain and simple. The decent folks simply aren't reproducing as fast as the trash.

Way to go out on a limb there brah. Who do you think is responsible for the out of control "crime and violence" in the city? Here, I'll help you

It'd probably be conservative to say that 98% of New Orleans' violent crimes are committed by blacks.

Can you explain this in more detail?

Those cities also provide more jobs to afford those prices. This city job market is probably 75% hospitality and tourisim the rest is either hospital, shipping, government, and construction jobs.

Music, food, and culture things people come here to see. From the vodoo to treme part of the city.

No doubt.
Crackers obviously also contribute, but they are breaking into cars and burglarizing homes - not pulling guns on unsuspecting drunk people at 6am in a tourist area.
This thread is exactly why black people feel disenfranchised - you have (more than likely) a majority of white people (myself included) calling a spade a spade and others claiming it isn't a problem which is no surprise that the poorer black communities continue to suffer as a direct result.

Not a single description of suspects. Very helpful article. Lots of info for the public to help find them
It's that way in Atlanta too! Once in a while they will mention the suspect is white. I can only assume the other 98% of suspects are not white......

Not to bring politics into this discussion, but FWIW, I really thought Obama would've played a key role in at least attempting to get blacks out of the ghetto. Sadly, I was mistaken.

95% of the population in question have no regard for life or human decency.
I walked my dog last night with my handgun in my hand, so many young blacks walking around sizing people up since no tourists in town last night (I live on edge of the qtr).

Black people have a patent on this? Statistically, they do have a patent on murder in the city.

So if everyone got the frick out like you said earlier, how do you think nola would fare in the coming years?

A great question for the entire country is how to address the urban ghetto situation in cities across the nation. I think the answer lies in targeted trade training, coupled with a massive investment in reconstructing housing and the private sector being willing to choose patriotism over maximizing profits by offering manufacturing jobs to inner city residents.

Did I say everyone? I say the people who have problems with blacks in a majority black city
