I watched some of the live feed. I genuinely support anyone’s right to peacefully protest dang near anything. Some of the folks that spoke were straight up communists. Looks like the George Floyd death was just the trigger that allowed these pre-planned events by groups that were waiting for something just like this.

That one DMX sounding guy on the live feed kept eluding to violence and said “we’ve been waiting years for this”. Kind of gave up the game.

It’s an election year

These people are organized. They have leaders and equipment and ranks and prepared speeches, etc..

This isn’ta coincidence

No. The NOPD was extremely prepared and professional.

They deserve nothing but respect.

Thank god Ferguson and Gusman did the right thing. I have to imagine they had words with Latoya behind closed doors. And they didn’t go well for Latoya

The only people who were convinced that anything beyond a peaceful protest was going to happen were middle aged white women on fb.

I can't count the screenshots my mom sent me of white women with "intel from LSP/JBE/etc that agitators are coming by the busload from out of state to loot nola"

My other favorite were the posts about pallets of bricks at very specific locations, yet not a single pic of said bricks is ever posted.

There is no chance this is a coincidence. This was planned waiting on the right trigger.

You actually believe this? What exactly will be changed as a result of these people gathering in New Orleans? Also, this change that is going to place, how will it positively impact the lives of AAs?
