Did you know that now there officially wasn't a fire at the pumping station even though they sent an emergency text out at 3 am saying there was a fire?

That water looks deeper than the depth gauge indicates. I guess the city can't even put those up right.

Having said that, if you see water is almost 3 ft deep you deserve whatever happens for trying to drive through it.

There are two cars on Elysian Fields not even flooded, just parked in the street where it will flood. This is causing people to stop in actual flooded water.
Assholes doing insurance scams.

If you go fast, it's not that bad. Most people crawl through a flood and that's how you get stuck.

shite has been broken for years. There has been a steady trickle/stream of water leaking from that spot for years.

I live 4 blocks from that trestle. That leak behind the concrete wall has been a nuisance forever. And sometimes when it's not even raining. City/S&WB know about it. They just DGAF.

There is a river of water flowing in elysian. I was out in the rain trying to stop cars and let trucks through.
Most listened. Finally a cop showed up. I thought he wss gong to help. He called it in and left. City don't care about warning peopl.

You really can't gauge the depth unless you watch the shoulders.

Just checked out the google street view of that area. The photo is from April 2017 and the wall is intact. Must be fairly recently that the wall got blown out. Definitely a leak at that manhole.
