It's about time. I used to cringe every time I drove by those statues when I lived there.

Jesus Christ
Don't forget the snipers that were in place. Yes, the mayor was willing to kill over this.

No you didn't, that is until the media and BLM made it an issue, then maybe you followed along in your faux outrage

My take on the statue removal...either someone had some serious dirt on Mitch, he is getting a kickback some how, or a woman is involved somehow. I don't think Mitch is this dumb to do all of this on his own volition.

If some patriot mauled him to death with a hammer I think I'd dance a jig.

So the City of Landrieu did in fact utilize public dollars to remove the statute.

If we would have had safe spaces back then, I definitely would have needed one.

Serial

On the same day that some southern states were honoring their rebel heritage, masked workers in New Orleans dismantled a monument to that past — chunk by chunk, under darkness and the protection of police snipers.

Yeah, there were definitely snipers around at the time of the removal.

This issue should have been put to a vote. Bitch screwed up with this.

That is not him and Tim is a good man and very loyal LSU fan! The people in the dept.that talk about him are the lazy ones who did not want order and someone running things.
