That's hilarious, because going to Talladega college tells me she didn't get any good offers. I'd say their definition of "honors graduate" is flawed.
The young lady from Belle Chasse who overdosed, was a straight A student and going to UNO.
Unless she is going to UNO for accounting or engineering, I don't understand that.

Surprised by her lack of tattoos

Does Lula have a dress code, and if so, did she break it?
If so, and they refused to leave, that is trespassing.
If not, the restaurant is out of bounds here.
Nothing to do with being black. I've seen plenty of white girls dress like that in public (and not at the beach/pool).

Why hard to believe? Likely live at home and commute. You can still get into Med and Law school graduating from UNO, Southeastern, Nichols, etc.

Thanks for clarifying, did not know that.

Yes I consider all that engineering. Like I said... unless it was for accounting or ENGINEERING....

Looks like she also paid the check. It's closer to her than him.

Who gives a shite if the restaurant has a dress code? If they wanted her to wear a mask they have the right to refuse service if she didnt want to...if the restaurant wanted her to wear a shirt...they also have the right to refuse service if she didnt want to..
Has nothing to do with being black

Agreed - and I said so, but I see you decided not to quote that part of my post.

Having the right, and doing what is right, are two different things.
If you are going to enforce a dress code, require masks, etc, just post that somewhere.
It never ceases to amaze me how stupid some restaurant owners are. They bring this upon themselves.

A party of 28!
LOL
I bet that was a blast to have to wait on.

How about just not wear just a bra to dinner at a decent restaurant.
This is some sort of Hooters or NOLA Hamburger and Seafood.

A year ago, a Minneapolis store clerk called police on George Floyd because he suspected Floyd had given him a counterfeit $20 bill, setting the stage for what would become Floyd’s tragic killing at the hands of an officer who has since been convicted of murder. That is what made the event so scary, said Butler. “That could’ve gone so many different ways,” she said
The mental gymnastics needed to shoe horn Sir George into this story

The police were called after three disruptive, adult patrons engaged with another table of patrons, and one of the female owners of Lula,” the statement said.
No shite. Low IQ people have problems logically connecting that their clothes weren’t the reason the cops were called, only when they start acting like asses.

I’d kill myself if my daughter wore something like that to a family dinner out.
What if she wore it to Redneck Mud Park?

You don’t know what the words appropriate attire means do you?

I don't even think they had any intent to make a big deal over her attire.
Whatever initial comment was made led to the verbal altercation which led to calling the police.

The article said Erin went into the bathroom and said something about her attire...whether that is true or not a verbal altercation ensued and other tables started arguing with each other and thats why the cops where called.
There is a lot in that article that makes me question what really happened. I'm sure half the shite the author stated isnt but only half true
