Probably. Although JP Morrell should win. Good guy, family guy. I disagree with him politically but I know him personally and hes a good dude.

Ubers in Nola were scarce this weekend. It took forever to book one and the prices were insanely high.
That said, I’m not justifying Brossett’s actions. If, in fact, he was hammered, driving would have been an unbelievable lapse of judgment considering his past and his upcoming city-wide election less than one month away.

Same city that elected a DA to prosecute crime who was himself a criminal defendant under federal indictment. A couple of DWIs won’t affect Brossett. And I’m sure he will claim that it was a political hit job by his opponent Morrell, who has several NOPD family members. That is the basis of DA Jason Williams defense to federal tax fraud charges.
