Yep
I'm tempted to start a "Boosie's influence on BR" thread, but I don't think it would be as fun as this one.

Bounce dat azz was pure greatness.
This thread really has me thinking back to high school and the summer before I started college. Baton Rouge was so different back then.

Paul, no doubt it was better. People were nicer and not all this trying to be fancy BS the city has become. A Lot less people on the streets. You could go anywhere and not think about any shite popping off, unless you went to the real bad areas.
Nothing wrong with having nice things, but Baton Rouge isn't Beverly Hills.

Definitely a throwback to my senior year,
I remember my Jr or SR. year of basketball we played at Belaire and the two locker rooms were separated by small corridor with a locked gate between them.
Both teams were blaring No Limit songs and talking shite to each other, but you couldn't see who was doing the talking. Good times.

Was Lee Carney on that team, and James Banks?

No I was after them, my brother played against those guys. Those Belaire teams were wild. I still remember watching Banks play.
I played against William Watson and Mewelde teams.

Holy shite! I haven't heard that name in years!!
I transferred to Central High my junior year. I went to broadmoor freshman and sophomore years.
When we went on senior trip, it was Central, Redemptorist, and Belaire all together. Good times!!!
