re: Nightlife in Shreveport

What's the name of the bar directly next door to Superior Steakhouse? I didn't see a sign or anything, but had a great night there It is just a plain dark bar with a pool table in the front when you walk in.

ehhh there's some. But 90% of the people are in the age group I listed.

It’s pretty dark nowadays.

There’s this place, over the river, it’s Bossier’s favorite bar, it’s called Bilbo Baggins Pub. Don’t eat the popcorn, though.

Eta: if you’ve got a scraggly beard, designer jeans, and boots that cost as much as a car note on your jacked up truck, go over the river to this place called Big Country.

Other than that, if you’re just a regular guy, the Cub and Round bar are on Youree Drive and next door to each other. Superior Bar and Grill is on Line Avenue, Superior’s Steakhouse (best looking collection of women in Northwest LA is here on Fri-Sat nights at the bar) is on Pierremont and is about a minute’s drive at most from Superior Bar and Grill, Oyster Bar is on Line and in between both of those places. Great Raft is on Kings right off I-49 and Red River Brewery is right outside of downtown.

Don’t go to Strangebrew, it used to be fun but now it’s pretty meh. Stray Cats is good for late night and Noble Savage is pretty good too.

What? Bilbo’s is at the intersection of Old Minden and Benton Rd. It’s most definitely over the river.

I forgot about that place, it’s pretty legit. The bar downstairs is ginormous.
