How do you think global communications work?
quote:Prove gravity. We know that things fall. But prove that a spinning mass attracts objects to stick to it due to its mass. And another even larger mass will hold it in orbit. I want to see that.
Gravity?

Or as they would through a dome Either one is a possibility. Or think of another possibility. A proposed explanation is not proof. Do you understand that?
Do you understand how fricking stupid you sound? Please explain to us your theory of gravity

Have you tried jumping? Maybe go on top of a large building and try and let us know how it turns out

quote:Yes. So there's a force pulling us to earth.
Have you tried jumping?
Now prove it is due to mass. Make something else have a force of attraction due to its mass. Until then, it could be due to anything.

Do you think the force is magic?

This has to be one of the best recent threads on OT. So good, so funny, it has it all.

Well I can measure it, so I atleast have some logic behind my understanding of gravity

You can measure the acceleration at which things fall. That's completely unrelated to what causes the acceleration.
You have never in your life seen anything have a force of attraction due to mass. It's never happened. There is zero proof whatsoever, in fact there is proof that large mass things don't have any extra force. Because they don't in every aspect of your world ever possible. But somehow you have accepted as fact and the only explanation. It's incredible.

Why do things float in space?

I haven't been to space. I'm not sure they do.

You have to physically be there in order to believe something happen? Do you believe in hurricanes you weren’t there to witness?
The entire world is in on the round earth conspiracy?

So you have seen and experienced 19 billion things in your life that had a relatively larger mass than something else and 0 of those 19 billion thing displayed a greater force of attraction due to their mass.
It's 0 for 19 billion so far for you on mass not attracting things. It's not happened once. But I guess it's not proof enough for you yet.

I have no idea what tf you are talking about, but good luck in your flat earth endeavor, I’m sure it will yield bountiful fruits

quote:Well there is a man who "went to space" who said earth is flat. If the hurricane is witnessed by a very few people, and it seems very fishy, and even a few are saying it didn't happen, I would look into it.
