When he first said what he said then went back on it about the American flag, it probably went like this.
Drew: Says his thing about the flag.
Malcom Jenkins: Is pissed calls out Drew.
Drew & Malcom get in touch
Drew: Bro WTF? Man I didn't mean it like the way people are taking it.
Malcom: I know and I apologize for my reaction in the media, I talking about all of that stuff got me emotional. Right now, when you tweeted what you did people will take it out of context.
Drew: You think I need to put something out there because people are fricking pissed at me.
Malcom: I would.
Drew takes his bad advice and puts out his statement. People on the other side lose their shite.
Drew talks to someone else who makes him think it would be a good idea to put out another message and then maybe have his wife put out something.
They do. People are still pissed.
Drew: frick social media. No matter what I put out there I am going to make some people happy, some people mad.
Fast forward to weeks later. He shows up to the practice facility the manager put tape on his helmet with Jacob Blakes name on it. He asks who that is. He is told "Another black man the cops shot". Drew: "thats fricked up" Puts helmet on, a picture is taken and tweeted, people lose their shite.
Today those shirts are put in each one of the players lockers. He looks at it "whatever. I am just going warm up before pad". A picture is taken of Drew with this shirt.. People lose their shite.
Or maybe he is doing it for another reason. Who knows? I like football, I am a Saints fan. I watch and don't once think about what they wore for 30 mins while warming up before pads.
