Robots won’t kill gymnastics are any other sport.

Not any time soon. But imagine robots with better agility and speed than humans and AI that is superior intelligence.
And then put them on a football field. Imagine the insane tackles. Parts flying everywhere, legs and arms getting knocked off. "Player" comes off the field after getting its head literally ripped off on a tackle.
No more targeting flags. No more horse collar flags. Facemask can be legal. And no worry about anyone getting hurt.
