You have now lost any shred of respect as a man that she may have still had for you. The second you decided to roll over and allow her to keep doing what she's doing without any repercussions, she won the war. I'm a firm believer that if I don't add to her life and she doesn't add to mine (as opposed to "making our respective lives better"), we cut ties, because there's no sense in dragging it out for reasons of comfort and convenience when you'll end up having to end it in the long run.
Go buy an eight ball, head to the Penthouse, find some skeeze, bang it out, and move on with your life

That's the problem. Dude is so scared to be alone that he is willing to take sloppy seconds from a chick he is devoted to. First thing this guy honestly needs to do is learn to be ok being single. Until he does that he will bounce from chick to chick clinging to the wrong ones.

Has the OP said if she has any attractive friends, sisters, cousins, etc.? Is her mom still in good shape?
This girl is such a count that you know her friends and female relatives do not really like her and would totally do you on their way out.
Get them in a situation with alcohol and you will quickly see that they view you as quality. They will also tell you how much they despise her.

OP, I had a similar situation. Girlfriend of about a year kept claiming she was sick around Christmas time. I never had an idea anything was up either. Decided to surprise her with Christmas gifts at townhouse she lived in. Knocked on door and I heard a dude's voice. Door was unlocked so I walked in, he took off out back door and she came running towards door with blanket wrapped around her. I told her I would have let them finish if I had known 
and I just walked off and blocked her #. Gave presents to my sister.
Eta: to clarify on the I would have let them finish comment. I don't know my exact words, been a long time. It was something like he didn't have to run off, y'all could have finished. I thought it was kinda funny

Nope, didn't have a clue. I probably reacted how I did b/c I was caught off guard. Haven't seen her since. She left an I'm sorry note on my door a week or so a later, I never read it but saw I'm sorry in big writing towards bottom of page.
