They've had problems like that in Atlanta too, and usually the quads, dirtbikes, etc are stolen.

ETA: Not on the Interstates but on city streets.

I love in the news piece they mention that it is a problem that all cites are experiencing. Last I checked Houston has a competent police department and it's never been a problem here. How in the frick does a pack of 20-30 four wheelers race down the street and nothing is done about it?

Houston!? Houston!? Lmao. Dude, Houston has the worst street racing problem in America. Texas 2k17 is in 2 weeks. I advise anyone in the Houston area to not be on the beltway come night fall.

I saw between 70 to 100 on Prytania looked like 1/4 mile long stretch of these guys. Youtube Footage from 2016: Nola Bikelife Mardi Gras Ride out 2016

My first response was to shake my head and give the ole proverbial "thugs". But after watching that video all the way through all I can say is these guys have a ton of talent and a YUGE sack of nuts. I hope they find a way to showcase that talent to better themselves and provide for their family. Coming from someone who grew up on motorcycles and ATV's and understands how difficult and dangerous those stunts are, I say Bravo!

Quads and dirt bikes in the hood is far from a new phenomenon

Maybe they should put the money they spend on these vehicles into something productive like taking care of their family or paying their child support.

I'd wager 80% of these are stolen

A lot of these riders came in from across the US to participate in this.
