New Orleans once again one of the 50 most-populated cities

Metropolitan area of DC ranks 4th at 9,331,587 people. City populations don't mean much considering most people living in the burbs commute to that city everyday.

It is very sprawled out that is why. Plus....not sure what numbers they include...cause I saw Mesa, AZ (which some would consider a suburb of metro PHX) separately on that list towards the bottom with about 450K. Mesa, AZ....the land of meth heads, poor native americans, Mormons and Jodi Arias...still has more people that NOLA

I'm not sure where he is getting his numbers. DFW Metropolitan Statistical Area is 4th with approximately 6.95 million people, followed by Houston at 6.49, Philadelphia at 6.05, and then DC at 6.03.

Ahh, you're using Combined Statistical Areas, which is fairly broad and includes Baltimore in the count for Washington DC numbers. MSA would rank DC separate from Baltimore.
