Seeing protesters in the streets chanting “frick Drew Brees” a man who has donated millions of dollars and spent countless hours of his own time doing charitable works for the city. It pains me to have been born there or ever be associated with the city of New Orleans. Here’s a man who helps out the needy and hungry, gave NOLA its only Super Bowl, and now in the blink of an eye he’s the most hated man in the city all because of a misconstrued partial snippet of what he said in an interview for Yahoo finance.

It’s no wonder the rest of the country hates New Orleans and looks down on us. The city is a gigantic disease infested cesspool of lowlives, corrupt politicians, and lazy front-running douchebags. Sell the Saints, the Pelicans, move Tulane to the northeast where it belongs, I don’t care. I hate New Orleans and everything it stands for

Tell me something I don’t already know.

Anyone with a brain left Louisiana for Texas years ago.

Because everybody feeds off validation from social media, they take it personally when someone disagrees with them. We're a society where we can't have civil disagreement anymore.

Calm down. These protestors aren’t even from New Orleans. NOPD’s chief predicted this would happen two days ago.

My family comes from New Orleans for generations. My grandfather tirelessly served the community for decades as a fireman and later chief of NOFD. It pains me to say it but frick that city. It’s full of a bunch of criminals and hippie transplants that don’t care about the locals, elect Latoya and trash one of the greatest men in the city’s history. Next time a hurricane wipes the city out, let’s leave it that way. New Orleans is a fricking disgrace.

No, any other city would have stuck up for their HOF Quarterback who’s done more for them than any of their elected officials ever have.

If Tom Brady would have said the same thing back in the day, Patriots fans would have defended his honor to the death.

They’re not from Nola, but they are the trash that currently inhabit Nola. Latoya isn’t from Nola either.

Lots of Saints fans are defending Brees.. and Boston is so far to the left of this region that if you really think that, you're beyond hysterical

Is this like when everyone swore off New Orleans when they took the statues down?

Robert E Lee didn’t do jack shite for New Orleans. Drew Brees rebuilds the fricking city and restores its spirit, all while still donating millions and the city turns around and shits on him in record time. This is different.

A couple dozen transplants turning against Brees doesn't mean the entire city turned against him.
