I don't like looking at fat people
outlaw smoking briskets
Your logic is sound.
Can I still do it in my home and post pictures online?

And no one forces the business owner to have a business that they know will have limitations on it as deemed by the government.

I don't smoke and don't really care what adults decide to put in their bodies. I so support freedom, which is apparently a lost ideal.

Even a brisket?
I think San Francisco is considering a ban on charcoal and wood fired grills/pizza ovens because of "air quality: issues. Just read this the other day

They aren't grandfathered in. They built a living and now have the rules changed.

I have no doubt it is coming under the same premise this law was passed. Charcoal grills put off some really bad compounds.

this boils down to the government legislating morality.
as a reformed smoker, i understand the appeal of smoking ban in privately owned businesses. But the gov't regulating morality is still as wrong as two men kissing.

Hasn't this been proven to be incorrect or has it been proven false then true then false again then true?
Fatty foods don't make people fat.. Sitting on your arse talking on Tigerdroppings about smoking bans instead of being outside doing an activity makes people fat. This study will be proven false in 10 days.

It is. Bunch of bitchy people calling in because they cough. That is the problem with shite like this. It is a slippery damned slope.

Business rules change in the government all the time. Nothing new. The owners knew the laws can and will change. It was their choice, and they knew it could change.

Which is why I brought up all the dumb blue laws but nobody wants to talk about that and just accept it for what it is.

go make a thread about blue laws. let's see who supports them. the same people arguing for freedom here will in that thread, too

I always took this to be more of a NIMBY type thing from the left. At least, that's how it started in New York 15 years ago.

what does this have to do with that?
this is about making a moral choice for society and deciding consenting adults cannot make these choices for themselves
