No, this is not the most dangerous thing in the world. Hence why there are 10 of thousands of reported cases of people making a full recovery. The number of people who never got tested would make that number higher.

But the fact of the matter is, sometimes shite happens. Elderly people are 100% more at risk. But that doesnt mean it doesn't serve a risk to the average person as well. I can only pray that all of my family remain safe.

We should consider it a very good thing that this for the most leaves children and young to early middle aged adults alone.

The flu is not so kind.

New Orleans has some of the unhealthiest 40+ year-old people in the country so this will contribute to the average age of the sick/dead.

Agreed. If we didn't have all of tbe different treatments and vaccines for the flu, I firmly believe it would be more deadly than the corona.

I’m quite surprised how it was a coronavirus that caused the pandemic. Most epidemiologists expected the next pandemic to be in the influenza, not corona, family. Corona viruses typically have been rather benign in the world of viruses. The history and reputation of corona viruses has caught the medical world off guard.

I am sad it has killed another. I pray that all of you and your families and friends will be well.

Each morning I awake and feel well I say a prayer of gratitude to our God. I feel well this morning and pray this health continues.

With obesity comes diabetes. Louisiana is the perfect “pitre dish” for this shite to affect the non-elderly (ie, the good ole boy age 40-50).

i watched part of gov cuomo ny update this day. 54% of cases are under 50 yrs old.

cuomo addressed the young of ny who are apparently ignoring the risk of spreading it.

because the early hotspots were where international travel happens, the good ol baws can ignore it for another month. by and by its going to get into red states. red states will gain benefit of the work done in seattle and ny.

ny wrangled the right to do testing after cdc was a bottleneck for a month.
yankee blue states finally pushed trump to admit its a thing and use the military equipment.

as recently as last week gop pols were encouraging its locals to go out and eat.

As recently as last week, the liberal dem mayor of NYC said it was no big deal.

As recently as last week, numerous people in the lib Democrat’s health department threatened to quit because he didn’t take it seriously.

As recently as this week, the liberal democrat mayor went to the YMCA, flouting the recommendations of his own office to avoid places like that.
