To be fair, murders are way up in nearly every major democratic ran city across the country.

To be fair, murders are just up. Politics doesn’t have a direct correlation.
Although the vast majority of major cities are democratic. But we can have a causation v. correlation argument on that for days.

I think it can be directly correlated to politics with progressive DAs and judges.

Mayors can certainly shape the direction of the police department. Giuliani did a lot to clean up NYC as mayor.

I think saying "I think" and then following it up with a statement without any data to support it is how our country has fallen into a pit of endless argument.

The same can be said for any way of backwards thinking. Louisiana is last or close to last in education, pollution, health care, etc.
Louisiana leads the nation in obesity, but you "can't change the culture of a people if they dont wanna change."
