We actually had flyball dogs in our family. I remember going to all of the tournaments across Texas to Missouri to Florida on the weekends. Great times racing and the dogs really loved it. They would get so competitive with each other.

It does take some time and the association doesn’t let you race until they are at least 1 year old. We had practices like 2 month on Sundays to train. Some dogs do pick up it pretty quickly.

My 20yr old son brought home a beagle / whippet mix...he lives in a dorm out of state, said it was going to be his..not the case...that dog is the fastest thing I've ever seen

I just got all excited watching those dogs. I've never seen that before.
Mine would've stopped and started chewing on the first thing he found. His nickname is Fat Boy.
