what he perceived to be a guy spewing some misinformation
we should poke through Neil’s past public statements to look for misinformation and then have him silenced as well. Am i doing this right?

I mean if we are being honest, Rogan is dumb and a terrible interviewer.
Because he is "dumb", self admittedly, is precisely why he IS a good interviewer.
He doesn't know, or like many of these corporate media hosts, think he knows enough to constantly talk over an expert, but he is aware enough at times to stop them when he feels they are skirting around an issue.

Don't you love when these hippies that claim to be all about peace, love and freedom show their arse as the authoritarian leftists they truly are.
That’s the part that always gets me. I feel like their younger selves would want to kick their arse for their hot takes today. They used to portray themselves as so anti-government and over the past decade they’ve shown themselves to be totalitarian “govern me harder daddy!” types. Sad

i wonder how much interviewing and facilitating some of these folks criticizing Rogan have done personally. As someone who facilitates for a living, I’d say he’s pretty damn good at driving a conversation and diving deep into topics, whether or not you like his commentary or not.
He’s also never claimed to be the world’s best interviewer/facilitator. He was just blessed with a platform that exploded into fame

A song lyric from another artist Don Henley comes to mind,
quote:
“Out on the road today, I saw a Deadhead sticker on a Cadillac. A little voice inside my head said, 'Don't look back, you can never look back'.”

And he'd likely admit to both those things. However those things are insignificant. People could care less what Joe himself has to say. Its the platform the left want to abolish. To them promotion of any speech not falling into their narrative needs to be stopped.

I decided a long time ago that if I let my politics get in the way of me enjoying the work of various artists, I wouldn't have much to watch or listen to. I suggest you do the same.
Luckily I already own all the Neil Young I need. It does bring to mind a fav...
Country Home
I don't like to go down to flats
'Cause I can't park on a hill
Instead getting a rolling start
I have to pay the bill.
I guess I need that city life
It sure has lots of style
But pretty soon it wears me out
And I have to think to smile.
I'm thankful for my country home
It gives me peace of mind
Somewhere I can walk alone
And leave myself behind.

No. He stood up for his values and beliefs. That is admirable.

He chose truth over money. They should have too, Spotify will find out soon enough.

Lance, he said he didn't want to be a part of something he saw as untruthful. It will cost him money, and he knows that's the outcome.
It's called having values and knowing the consequences instead of crying "cancel culture".

I am 99% sure you wouldn't be saying that if it was someone else pulling their music off of Spotify due to Spotify (hypothetically) hosting a pro-vaccine podcast with factual scientific information.

So you believe that Rogan should be able to speak his mind but Neil Young should not? That is an interesting interpretation of free speech.

Artists make like .005 cents per play on those streaming services. Neil doesn’t care.
