Neighbor's Pitbull destroying my fence and attempting to get into my yard: Update pg 7

First off, sorry. Another Pitbull thread. I'm not here to debate whether or not they are dangerous, etc.
My neighbors have two pitbulls. They appear to be well behaved dogs when off the leash in the front yard (they don't stay out there unattended, nor for very long). They come when the lady next door tells them to. In short, when they are watched, they are model citizens.
My girlfriend has two dachshunds who I have grown very attached to. They are inside dogs, but naturally they go outside to relieve themselves. When the neighbor's dogs are in the back, they sense my dogs and go crazy. They've started biting the fence and ripping pieces of the wood off. They've also started trying to climb under my fence. This past Sunday (8/11/19), I went to Lowe's to buy a few things, and while I was there, I bought a fence board and a bought a box of nails. I knocked on the door (this was our first interaction, other than waving hello. We purchased the house in February.) told her why I was bringing her a fence board, asked her to have it fixed because I cannot have her dog getting into my yard. She seemed to appreciate me coming and talking to her instead of contacting the police or animal control. The fence was repaired yesterday.
Fast forward to a Facetime call from my girlfriend today. Said pitbull is halfway under my fence. My girlfriend attempted to put our water hose cart in front of the new hole in the same board that was replaced yesterday. The dog lunged at my girlfriend.
I come to the OT for advice. I don't want to do anything to my neighbor's dog because it is just being a dog. However, I will protect my animals and my girlfriend at any cost. What would the OT do? Is there a method to reinforce the fence on my side with a cross-board? Do I get more stern with my neighbors? I'm not above getting the police involved, but I feel like this is something that can be addressed while still being civil with the neighbors.
Tl;dr. I get it. Thanks everyone .

Tell the neighbor if she doesn't stop the dogs from trying to get in your yard, there will be major repercussions.
Is it your fence or hers?

Only answer is to sit in the backyard and wait on the dogs to get through the fence and shoot them once they’re in your yard. Nothing will stop them from trying to get through that fence other than that.

First, you know what you have to do.

Start with a bb gun and work your way up from there if they don't stop coming

Shoot them.
Those dogs need to be exterminated

.40 cal to the skull when he pokes his head under the fence.

You have to fight fire with fire sometimes. Sounds like you need any one of these:
or a pair of German Shepherds

Go to Costco and buy the restaurant supply sized Cayenne pepper bottles. Maybe 3-4. Line that fence with cayenne pepper.
Edit: Frick my idea, get those German Shepards.

Kind of what I'm afraid of. I'm hoping to avoid that.

Lob a few antifreeze soaked balls of meat over the fence. Problem solved.

The pit bulls will 100% be looking to kill your dogs on contact. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

We actually got Costco memberships on Sunday. I might try that, but I don't want to hurt my dogs in the process.

Give them a steak with rat poison

Fully aware. I grew up around police dogs. These pits have those 'kill' signs. I know if they get into my yard, it's curtains.

That's the sad part.
To the op, once those dogs are through the fence, they're killing your dogs in a few seconds
Talk to your neighbors at minimum

You know how this always ends.

You really think you're going to get sincere advice from the OT in a thread about pit bulls?

What would the OT do?
Put chocolate and grapes under the fence.

Sit at the hole in the fence with a gun. Dog gets through, shoot it in the head. Problem solved
