They said he had an irregular heartbeat and that his potassium, magnesium, sodium, and electrolytes were at a life threatening level. That's what he was in the hospital for two weeks ago.
Hey OP, I been there in that deep shite with myself. 6+ years ago, they wrote me off. Still here even after fighting heart failure going on 11 years.
Now I going in to be tested for ALS in Houston next Monday.

My prays are still with y'all.

Thanks man. Hes fighting. They said his heartbeat is in the 40s, which is where they want it right now and that he had a little pupil activity last night. The nurse said that was the best hes looked since hes gotten there. It gives me a glimmer of hope and I was actually able to eat a little bit and get a few hours of sleep.

Sounds like he is coming along.
It's going to be small steps.

Nurse called yesterday afternoon after they started warming him up that he now has a gag reflex and was making faces. Also his BP and pulse were back to normal. About an hour ago the nurse called, I was terrified to answer, but it was great news. She said hes moving all around in his bed. Thanks for your prayers. Were not out of this, but things are looking better.

I just wanted to thank everyone for all your prayers. My dad is getting better by the day. They took the ventilator out a couple days ago and he had some water and chicken broth last night. The doctor told me he was nothing short of a miracle. No way he should've survived that. So again, thanks so much.

It’s such a good thing you were already on the way to the hospital and with him when everything happened.
